There has been talk for some time about starting a club for owners of ex-REME recovery vehicles.
I'm not sure if there is enough interest to make it worthwhile starting a club as such, with membership fees, a regular newsletter and all that goes with it, so I have started by just putting a website together with a bit of information about REME recovery vehicles and equipment and other vehicles which were adapted specifically for REME.
The REME Museum website already has an excellent section on the Museum's collection, www.rememuseum.org.uk/vehicles/vehindex.htm. This site is aimed more at the vehicles in private ownership which are seen at steam rallies and miltary vehicle shows throughout the UK
