Officially known as the AEC model 854 with petrol engine or O854 with diesel engine, but commonly referred to as the six wheel Matador. Most were built as either fuel bowsers or mobile cranes for the RAF.

The six wheelers share most of their mechanical parts with the Matador. The rear axles are worm driven with a special transfer box to suit the different ratios. The cab has extra windows above the windscreen and in the rear upper corners to give better visibility when manouvering around aircraft.
